About Us

At SmokinHotShoreGirl, we believe in the power of hard work, grit, and self-sufficiency—qualities that define the backbone of strong women everywhere. Born and raised on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, where the farmlands meet the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, our founder was raised among hardworking families who knew the value of a day’s labor—whether harvesting crops or pulling seafood from the water.

A hands-on doer by nature, she’s always been the kind of woman who isn’t afraid to get dirty, fix what’s broken, and run a household with confidence. In 2020, alongside her husband and biggest supporter, she took on the challenge of building their dream retirement home from the ground up. Every nail driven and wall raised became a symbol of strength, determination, and partnership.

During the build, her husband began sharing photos of their progress, often celebrating her hard work with captions like, “Smokin’ Hot Shore Girl gettin’ it done!” What started as a playful nickname soon became a local sensation. Strangers in town recognized her from the posts, inspired by the sight of a woman swinging hammers, running saws, and still getting supper on the table. The name stuck—and SmokinHotShoreGirl was born.

More than just a name, SmokinHotShoreGirl is a movement that celebrates women who aren’t afraid to tackle tough jobs, get their hands dirty, and take pride in what they build—both literally and figuratively. Our clothing and lifestyle brand is designed to empower women with apparel that reflects their strength, resilience, and everyday hustle.

We’re starting small—with T-shirts, sweatshirts, and other essentials—but we have big plans to expand into tools and supplies that support women in every task they take on. Whether you’re repairing a fence, managing a household, or building something from the ground up, we’re here to say: you’ve got this. Welcome to SmokinHotShoreGirl—where strength meets style.
